Ever dreamed of spending a euro summer in Italy? As an Au Pair, you’ll live with a warm Italian family for 1-3 months, caring for children while soaking up the magic of one of Europe’s most beautiful countries.
Wander cobblestone streets in charming villages, sip espresso at sunny piazzas, and indulge in fresh pasta, pizza, and gelato. Spend weekends exploring world‑famous cities like Rome, Florence, and Venice, or relax on the breathtaking Amalfi Coast.
Being an Au Pair in Italy is the perfect way to combine travel, cultural exchange, and family life into one incredible summer.
The Au Pair Experience
The Au Pair experience duration is 1-3 months. Hopscotch ensures you’re placed with a safe host family, enabling you to immerse yourself authentically in Italian living. Host families offer accommodation (a private room within their home) and meals during your entire stay
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work roughly 25 hours per week
• Transport the children to and from school and arrange playdates
• Prepare meals
• Assist with homework
• Assist with general child-related chores, such as laundry, tidying the children’s bedrooms and play areas
OUR FEES
SIGN UP FEE (non refundable): R 3,000
EXPERIENCE FEE: R 6,000
INCLUDED IN OUR FEES
EXTERNAL COSTS
VISA PROCESSING: R 1,830
ROUND TRIP AIRFARE: R 15,000
Travel Insurance (if not covered by your bank or medical insurance): R 1,500

If you qualify our experience coordinator will contact, you for an online interview. If your interview is successful, you will be accepted to the experience of your choice
